MBA United Kingdom – Mike Shub

Univesity: London Business School

1.       Can you briefly discuss the role of ethical decision-making in a business environment in your country?

A significant part of ethical decision making in England revolves around sustainability, especially environmental sustainability. Businesses are expected to keep the well being of the earth and its people in mind when pursuing a profit.

2.       How has ethical decision-making been incorporated into your school’s curriculum?

We have an Ethics class as part of our required coursework. That class also covers social responsibility.

3.       Can you describe an ethical challenge in your personal, professional or academic life?

I took my Risk Analysis class while I was experiencing some troubles in personal life. Let’s just say that some of the work submitted by me was not completely original.
